Students will learn to listen, speak, read and write thru Pinyin phonetic system and traditional Chinese characters. Students will also be exposed to Chinese traditions and culture through academic and cultural activities.
There is a resource room-language lab for learning enhancement, in addition to five levels of classes including Introductory Chinese, Fundamental Chinese I, Fundamental Chinese II, Intermediate Chinese and Advanced Chinese.

Student in this class are already fluent in speaking to each other in Chinese. Students
will learn more advanced vocabulary and emphasis will be in reading and writing Chinese.
Students will optimize their skills to carry on conversation, expressing their opinions on
issues related to current events and ensure the learning connect to everyday life.
Prerequisite is Intermediate Chinese (vocabulary of around 1000 words) or with equivalent
level of Chinese language proficiency approved by the teacher/principal.
這個班的學生已經可以流利地用華語交談。 學生將學習更高級的詞彙，重點是華語的閱讀和寫作。

Student will progress further in learning Chinese (Mandarin). Students will learn to speak a
higher level of Chinese, including interactive inquiries, more complex social etiquette and more elaborate conversation about daily activities.
Prerequisite is Fundamental Chinese I (vocabulary of around 400 words) or with
equivalent level of Chinese language proficiency approved by the teacher/principal.
學生將在學習華語（ 國語/ 普通話）方面取得進一步進展。學生將學習更高程度的華語，包括互動詢問、更複雜的社交禮儀以及更詳細的日常活動對話。
先修條件是基礎華語I（約400個單字的詞彙）或具有老師/校長認可的同等華語程度。

conversation about daily activities.

Chinese language proficiency approved by the teacher/principal.
學生將在學習華語（ 國語/ 普通話）方面取得進步。 學生將學習額外的初級華語，包括常見的問候語複習、社交禮儀和有關日常活動的簡單對話。
